What is a PAYG Plan?

What information do I need to provide to order a pay as you go SIM

When ordering a Lyca Mobile PayG SIM Plan, you will be required to provide some essential information to complete the purchase and activate your SIM card. This information includes your full name, address, contact number, email address and payment details.

How do I port my OLD number?

Porting is the process of transferring your mobile phone number from your current provider to a new one, like Lyca Mobile. To switch to Lyca Mobile, you need to submit your request to transfer your number at following web page https://prepay.lycamobile.ie/en/help/transfer-your-number/ Follow the steps mentioned on the webpage to submit your request.

How long will it take to receive a SIM?

The delivery time for your Prepaid SIM card may vary depending on your location. Typically, you can expect to receive your Lyca SIM card within 2-3 business days after placing your order.

Are there any delivery charges for ordering a SIM?

At Lyca Mobile, we do not charge any delivery fees for shipping the Prepaid SIM card to your designated address.

Do I have to commit to any contract for a SIM?

With Lyca Mobile, you have the freedom to choose between Prepaid SIM Only Plans, which do not require a contract. Our prepaid plans allow you to have control over your usage and make payments in advance, while postpaid plans offer additional benefits and flexibility.

What is credit reservation? And why has my credit been frozen?Credit reservation is a new system we have introduced to automatically reserve credit paid for by top-up voucher or debit card in your Lyca Mobile account for the purpose of activating a rolling Pay As You Go (PAYG) plan or queued Lyca Mobile plan.When you do not have enough credit in your balance for our system to automatically renew/activate your requested plan, our system will now automatically reserve any existing Lyca Mobile account credit until you’ve topped up enough balance to renew/activate the requested plan.This is to prevent you from accidentally using services at PAYG standard rates without your knowledge (for example, data used by apps for alerts and background refreshes).We will notify you that credit reservation
